If I said this wasn't hard I'd be lying. Keeping a best friend is like taking care of a pet. It can be extremely hard, but you have to nurture, help, and love them or they will run away.

KEEPING A BEST FRIEND:

* Try not to keep secrets, besties hate that

* Keep in contact, call or text them let them know you care

* Try to get them gifts on special days (Valentines day/Christmas/Birthday)

* Don't get mean or arrogant around them, its mean and annoying

* Don't blame them for crap that goes on in your life

* Don't steal from them, they are your best friend

* Don't lie to them
